The island also offers breathtaking nature with its dramatic coastal landscapes, the sand dunes of Little Sahara and Admiral's Arch, a cave open to the sea.
Portland (Australia)
In Portland, you can experience Australian history up close: for example, on a ride on the nostalgic Portland Cable Tram, which offers unique views of the city and its picturesque coastline. Or in the Botanic Gardens, the oldest in the country, which are a paradise for plant lovers and an oasis of tranquillity. A special highlight is a visit to the 12 Apostles rock formation, the second most popular photo motif in Australia after Ayers Rock/Uluru. Your route there takes you along what is probably Australia's most famous road, the Great Ocean Road.
