You can enjoy relaxing moments in the spa with its sauna and whirlpool, as well as culinary delights in our cosy restaurant. Lunch and dinner menus are served at the table. Depending on the daily programme, choose between a light lunch buffet in front of the panorama salon or snacks from the barbecue station on the sun deck. In winter 2023/24 all public areas were modernised to an exclusive standard. In winter 2024/25 the cabins will be modernised.

Anton Bruckner was closely connected with the monastery throughout his life. He began his musical career as a Florian choirboy and later remained loyal to the monastery, spending much time there. After his death, he was buried at his own request in the crypt of the monastery basilica, directly under the great organ. During a guided tour of the impressive Augustinian Canons' Monastery of St. Florian, you will see, among other things, the Bruckner Memorial Room and the crypt with Anton Bruckner's sarcophagus. The musical highlight is a concert on the "Bruckner organ" in the beautiful monastery basilica.

Linz owed an early economic boom as an important trading center primarily to its location on the Danube. These influences had a lasting impact on the cityscape and culture of Linz. Magnificent courtyards and proud town houses tell of times gone by. The baroque main square with its magnificent Trinity Column is also worth a visit. In 2009, the city was even named European Capital of Culture. Of course, a trip to the Freynberg is not to be missed during this discovery tour. From here you can enjoy a wonderful view.

First you will visit the Johann Strauss apartment, which the musician lived in between 1863 and 1870. This is also where he wrote his most famous waltz "On the Beautiful Blue Danube". The exhibition shows original furniture and instruments as well as portraits, photographs and documents, which give you an understanding of his life and work. Afterwards you will go to the Mozart House. The centerpiece here is the Mozart apartment, where Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart lived with his family from 1784 to 1787. Here he composed, among other things, his famous opera "Le Nozze di Figaro". The crowning finale is an exclusive concert with the most famous works of the musical genius.

After a short free time, you will pass the Praterstern and return to your ship.

Budapest is certainly one of the most beautiful cities in Europe and bears the nickname "Queen of the Danube" not without reason. The Danube divides the Hungarian metropolis into the districts of Buda and Pest. You will first drive through the city center and enjoy the flair of the city. Enjoy a beautiful view of the Buda Castle, Fishermen's Bastion and Matthias Church, which still remind of the glory of past times. Also a small visit to the famous Budapest market hall may not be missing, of course.

The composer Johann Nepomuk Hummel was born here in 1778. The tour ends with a concert in the Franciscan Church, the oldest preserved church in Bratislava.

The baroque Benedictine Abbey of Melk towers impressively above the town at the entrance to the Danube in the Wachau region. Melk has been a spiritual and cultural center of the country for more than 1,000 years. The monastery has become literarily known, among other things, through Umberto Eco's novel "The Name of the Rose". The imposing baroque building is a visible expression of the importance of the monastery in the baroque period. A guided tour through the monastery will impressively convey the former importance of the monastery. Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to explore the grounds yourself before the bus picks you up again and takes you back to the ship.
