Today you will get a comprehensive impression of this Danube metropolis rich in tradition. From the pier you will first drive along the Ringstraße with its famous magnificent buildings, past the State Opera, the Museum of Art History & Natural History, Parliament, City Hall and Burgtheater, University and the Gothic Votivkirche to the Albertina. After a short and leisurely walk along Kärntnerstraße and Graben, you will pass the Hofburg Palace and walk through the Volksgarten towards the Town Hall. Vienna's largest Christmas market is located at the Town Hall. During a short free time, let yourself be enchanted by the magnificent scenery as well as the Christmas flair before the bus awaits you for the return journey.

Beethoven Museum and Mozart House with concert

Walk in the footsteps of the famous composers Johann Strauss and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart on this excursion. First you will visit the Johann Strauss apartment, which the musician lived in between 1863 and 1870. This is also where he wrote his most famous waltz "On the Beautiful Blue Danube". The exhibition shows original furniture and instruments as well as portraits, photographs and documents, which give you an understanding of his life and work. Afterwards you will go to the Mozart House. The centerpiece here is the Mozart apartment, where Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart lived with his family from 1784 to 1787. Here he composed, among other things, his famous opera "Le Nozze di Figaro". The crowning finale is an exclusive concert with the most famous works of the musical genius.

The church in the Christkindl pilgrimage site today stands on the spot where once the seriously ill bandmaster Ferdinand Sertl placed a small baby Jesus made of wax in the hollow of a spruce tree and prayed again and again until he was finally healed. From the Christkindl post office, you can send Christmas greetings to your loved ones back home before continuing on to one of Austria's oldest cities. Customs and traditions are always rediscovered here. Take a walk and immerse yourself in the romantic atmosphere of the Christkindlstadt Steyr. In the 1st Austrian Christmas museum for historical Christmas tree decorations, more than 14000 specimens as well as 200 parlor dolls are waiting for you.
